A bring back bonus for furloughed staff

If you have domestic/household staff on furlough then you need to know the Chancellor is offering a £1,000 “Bring back” bonus.

If you bring back an employee who was furloughed and continue to employ them between November and January, the government will award a £1,000 bonus for each worker.

To qualify, the employees must earn at least the lower earning limit for National Insurance (£520 per month) between November and January.

The furlough scheme will finish at the end of October.
