A Unique Historical Display
It’s Easter and a chance to see a unique display which appeals to all ages, the famous annual London Harness Horse Parade.
The event is held at the South of England Centre, Ardingly, West Sussex on Easter Monday 21st April.
The magnificent sight of over a hundred historic horse drawn carts and carriages, together with vintage and classic cars, tractors, vans and motorbikes is a spectacle not to be missed.
First started in 1885, this popular intergenerational event will feature over 100 horse drawn vehicles and carriages, pulled by Shetlands to Shires, from all over Britain.
There will also be a parade of the earliest motor cars, vintage tractors and historic motorcycles plus a chance to take a ride back in time on the Fullers Brewery Dray pulled by two of their magnificent Shire horses.
Public admission gates open at 08:00, inspections and judging start 10:15 and final parade will be about 12:30 (all times subject to alteration).
Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh GCVO has now become the Royal Patron for the London Harness Horse Parade.
