April 6th  – Or 7th Which is The Date For Changes

April 6th generally brings some changes which affect employers of all including domestic staff and this year is no exception.

However, the new rates itemised below will take effect from next Sunday, April 7th as it is the first Sunday in April.

Statutory Maternity pay will rise to £148.68 per week.

The same date applies to rates for statutory Paternity pay and

Shared Parental Leave which will rise from £145.18 to £148.68

per week or 90% of the employee’s average weekly salary if that

figure is less that the statutory rate of pay for the leave.

Rates normally increase each April in line with the Consumer

Price Index (CPI).

Using The Graham Agency was a truly good decision, from first chat to welcoming the candidate you found for us was simplicity itself. Excellent matchmaking.

I have been working for this family now for just over a year, and am able to enjoy life and save.

The idea of finding a domestic staff member for the first time on our own was intimidating, so we would like to express our gratitude for taking away all the issues for us.

I would just like to say a big Thank You for finding the perfect job for me.
