Can I Insist On Employees Being Vaccinated?

One of the most important issues today for all employers, including those of domestic and household staff is “Can I insist on employees being vaccinated?”

The answer it appears, is Yes and No!

For clarification, Justice Secretary, Robert Buckland has said that it may be legal for companies to insist on new staff being vaccinated as a condition of their employment.

However, it was unlikely bosses could make existing employees have vaccines under their current contracts.

A spokesperson for Downing Street has further explained that would be “discriminatory” to order people to be vaccinated to keep their job.
