If you are considering taking on extra domestic and household staff, it appears that now would be a good time to start looking.

The most recent evidence shows that hiring has  picked up at the fastest rate for six years.

In other positive indicators, both permanent and temp salaries shows an uplift in April 2021

The survey was carried out by jointly by accountants KPMG and the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. Although the research was carried out across  various employment areas, experience has shown that the domestic and household employment and salary movements are generally in-line.

Their research showed that the number of advertised vacancies rose the fastest since August 2018 and that permanent positions rose at the fastest rate since 2015.

One of the effects of such movements is that potential candidates you might like to see are also looking at increasing other job opportunities. Could be a good time to get in there fast.
