Great Stainless Steel Cleaning Tips From A Professional
Grease spots and smudges on the stainless steel items and walls in your kitchen spoil all your good work and yes it is annoying to say the least.
We asked a specialist in installing stainless steel items in kitchens and other areas, Matt Bourne. Here is his exclusive advice for a perfect finish.
“Do one item at a time.
Use a lightly soapy microfibre cloth to wipe over the item ALWAYS WIPE WITH THE GRAIN. Wipe dry with a second cloth VERY LIGHTLY WITH THE GRAIN.
Spray a little WD40 oil onto your third cloth and now wipe for the last time again, as always, along the grain.
If you clean with a circular action and up and down not following the grain you will permanently spoil the appearance and the damage cannot be reversed.”
Thank you, Matt.
