Handing In A Resignation

Handing In A Resignation

As much as we may love our jobs, there may well be a time when you are not as happy and feel the need to move on.  But how you let your boss know you want to move on is important and the procedure has to be correct.

Firstly, your resignation has to be in writing, dated and signed by yourself.  No matter how unhappy you are about your circumstances, refrain from quoting details. But you should, if possible, discuss them with your boss before tendering your resignation.

If you change your mind, can you retract your resignation?  That will depend upon whether or not your boss allows you to do so. You do not have a legal right to withdraw it, so make sure that is what you really want to do, before writing and submitting it.

Using The Graham Agency was a truly good decision, from first chat to welcoming the candidate you found for us was simplicity itself. Excellent matchmaking.

I have been working for this family now for just over a year, and am able to enjoy life and save.

The idea of finding a domestic staff member for the first time on our own was intimidating, so we would like to express our gratitude for taking away all the issues for us.
