We have told you before that Employment Tribunal Fees have been removed, leaving you free to take a former employer to an Employment Tribunal if you feel you were unfairly dismissed.

Now if the dismissal happens in the future the amount that it is possible to be awarded is rising.

The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal will increase from £83,682 to £86,444 for dismissals that take place on or after 6 April 2019.
