Statutory Costs Rise

As an employer of domestic staff, increases in costs are always a concern and this month sees a rise in several statutory rates of pay compared with last year.

As from 2nd April 2023 statutory rates of pay for: maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental and parental bereavement will all rise.

The flat weekly rate of statutory maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental and parental bereavement pay will increase from £156.66 to £172.48.
