As an employee, don’t miss out on ‘free money’

Sometimes an offer comes along that appears to be a real bonus. Well, for many domestic and household staff a deal is on offer that may well boost saving with a ‘free’ money top-up.

The government has announced that low paid workers who put aside some money as savings could receive a top-up of up to £1200 over a four year period.

If you are on in-work benefits and put aside £50 a month you will receive a bonus of 50% after two years – worth up to £600.

That could then be continued for another two years with account holders receiving another £600.

Granted not everyone is in this position, but if you are, then you need to be aware of the possibility.
